STORY

Your coffee, anywhere.

Specialty raised the craft. Reproducing café-grade pressure and curves beyond the counter is still hard. PURA argues for what comes next — true 6–9 bar at the puck, Brew OS, and shared results you can take anywhere.

Not perfect yet.

That's where you come in.

You're sincerely invited to co-create with PURA.

This cup is packed with capabilities and sensors - and it still needs your honest feedback; we keep improving. Every brew, every rating, every extraction curve you create is a shared achievement. Sign your curve in the app and share it with every PURA device on earth together we taste, together we improve. For pure coffee.

Three waves made coffee.

What we argue comes next.

Every wave gave something back to people. The first gave convenience. The second gave the third place. The third gave terroir back to the bean. PURA argues for what comes next — café-grade, competition-inspired recipes you can reproduce beyond the counter.

Instant

01

From the late 1930s · mass-market / instant. Coffee as fuel. Freeze-dried, uniform, everywhere. Flavor was the price of convenience — and everyone paid it.

Instant

The Third Place

02

1970s–90s · café culture (e.g. Peet's, Starbucks). Coffee as social currency. Espresso, latte, a sofa between home and office. The ritual was sold back to us — by the cup.

The Third Place

Specialty

03

Term popularized early 2000s · craft / origin (e.g. Blue Bottle). Coffee as craft. Single origin, light roasts, brewing quantified to the gram and the second. Beautiful — but locked behind skill, gear and counter space.

Our thesis — AI × Craft

Every method solved its era. We stand on all of them.

1901

Espresso

Early espresso patents — café espresso begins; pressure enters the language of coffee.

Early 20th c.

Pour-over

Pour-over tradition (roots early 20th c.; later specialty revival).

1933

Moka Pot

Pressure leaves the café and enters every kitchen.

1938

Freeze-dried

Shelf-stable convenience — flavor pays the bill.

1961

Pump espresso

Mid-20th-century pump espresso settles ~9 bar at the puck as a widely taught café reference.

~1980s

Capsule

Capsule systems (commercial consumer era ~1980s).

Early 2000s

Third wave

The term names a craft movement already building around origin, roast, and method.

What’s next

True 6–9 bar at the puck, Brew OS curves, Taste Wiki results — our thesis for reproducible specialty beyond the café.

Espresso's pressure. The moka's structure. The pour-over's curve. The capsule's ease. PURA is not a new gadget — it is the iteration of a century of brewing.

Ninety-three years in the making.

From moka pressure to coffee on your terms.
Café espresso often targets around 9 bar at the puck — but portable machines rarely hold it. Neo Pro is built to carry specialty pressure with you. PURA takes its name from the Latin pūrus: pure, undiluted, uncompromised. We build around stable pressure at the puck, Brew OS curves you can see, and photo-to-curve suggestions today. Deeper taste-learning remains on the roadmap.

L’Artista — The Artist

Defines what is beautiful — a cup you want to hold, photograph, and leave on the table.

Barista — The Barista

Defines what is delicious — an SCA-certified palate, championship curves, and the discipline to say “not yet.”

L’Ingegnere — The Engineer

Defines what is reliable — drone-grade power, ±1°C control, and seven layers of protection.

Three systems. One cup.

NEO PRO extracts. Brew OS shapes the curve. Taste Wiki carries the result forward.

01 / Hardware

Extraction, without the transfer.

NEO PRO combines an electric pressure pump with the moka pot’s bottom-up structure. Water rises through the puck; coffee rises into the cup. Built to hold café-reference pressure at the puck, with no stove, no pouring, and no parts to reassemble.

  • True 6–9 bar at the puck
  • Filed upward-extraction structure
  • Φ72 × 185 mm · up to 120W peak heating · 34.56Wh pack

02 / Software

From a photo to an executable curve.

Live telemetry, programmable multi-stage profiles, and photo-to-curve suggestions today. Deep taste-learning from your ratings remains on the roadmap.

  • Programmable multi-stage brew profiles
  • Brew Cards: grind, dose, curve
  • Deeper taste-learning from ratings: on the roadmap
