Coffee as fuel. Freeze-dried, uniform, everywhere. Flavor was the price of convenience — and everyone paid it.
ConvenienceSTORY
Specialty raised the craft. Reproducing café-grade pressure and curves beyond the counter is still hard. PURA argues for what comes next — stable 9 bar at the puck, Brew OS, and shared results you can take anywhere.
01 / LE ONDE
— chi cavalca l'onda, decide la marea
Every wave gave something back to people. The first gave convenience. The second gave the third place. The third gave terroir back to the bean. PURA argues for what comes next — café-grade, competition-inspired recipes you can reproduce beyond the counter.
Coffee as fuel. Freeze-dried, uniform, everywhere. Flavor was the price of convenience — and everyone paid it.
ConvenienceCoffee as social currency. Espresso, latte, a sofa between home and office. The ritual was sold back to us — by the cup.
ExperienceCoffee as craft. Single origin, light roasts, brewing quantified to the gram and the second. Beautiful — but locked behind skill, gear and counter space.
CraftOur reading of what comes next: moka wisdom, third-wave craft, stable 9 bar at the puck, Brew OS curves, and shared results — compressed into a cup you can take anywhere.
ThesisThe Wave Riders
Espresso — Early espresso patents — café espresso begins; pressure enters the language of coffee.
Moka Pot — Pressure leaves the café and enters every kitchen.
Freeze-dried — Shelf-stable convenience — flavor pays the bill.
Pump espresso — Mid-20th-century pump espresso settles ~9 bar at the puck as a widely taught café reference.
Pour-over — Pour-over tradition (roots early 20th c.; later specialty revival).
Capsule — Capsule systems (commercial consumer era ~1980s).
Third Wave — The term names a craft movement already building around origin, roast, and method.
What's next — Stable 9 bar at the puck, Brew OS curves, Taste Wiki results — our thesis for reproducible specialty beyond the café.
Espresso's pressure. The moka's structure. The pour-over's curve. The capsule's ease. PURA is not a new gadget — it is the iteration of a century of brewing.
02 / LA STORIA
— da Bialetti a PURA
1933 — Alfonso Bialetti invents the moka pot. Espresso leaves the café and enters every Italian kitchen. The first democratization of pressure.
Early 2000s — “Third Wave” names a craft movement already building around origin, roast, and method. Examples, not founders — craft still largely stays behind the counter.
2026 — PURA. The moka meets AI. A cup that heats, pressurizes and learns — the second democratization of pressure. Berlin, IFA: the world sees it rise.
Café espresso often targets ~9 bar at the puck as a reference — but most portables rarely hold it. Neo Pro is built to. PURA began with a simple refusal: why shouldn't specialty pressure travel with you?
PURA comes from the Latin pūrus — pure, undiluted, uncompromised. We engineer for it: stable pressure at the puck, Brew OS curves you can see, and photo-to-curve suggestions today — with deeper taste-learning on the roadmap.
Behind PURA is a small atelier of three obsessions. Every product must be signed by all three before it ships — or it does not ship at all.
Defines what is beautiful. A cup you want to hold, photograph, and leave on the table — not hide in a cabinet.
Defines what is delicious. SCA-certified palate, championship curves, and the stubbornness to say "not yet" to a hundred prototypes.
Defines what is reliable. Drone-grade power, ±0.5°C (±0.9°F) control, seven layers of protection — physics, not promises.

FROM THE JOURNAL
Short clips from the atelier and the road — real machine media, not AI gens.
TEAM
Founder. Sets the refusal that specialty pressure should travel — and the standard that every cup ships only when Artist, Barista, and Engineer all sign.
Chief Product Officer and SCA Barista Skills Professional: barista, engineer, roaster and trainer in one pair of hands.
Together with sensory specialists, engineers and designers: one machine that puts temperature, pressure and time back in your hands; one built so Brew OS can grow with you — deep taste-learning is on the roadmap. Coffee, on your terms.
03 / LE TRE INNOVAZIONI
— il fossato che i rivali non attraversano
Moka-Pressure Extraction — our filed fusion of an electric pressure pump with the moka pot's bottom-up structure. Water rises through the puck; coffee rises into the cup.
Brew OS today: photo-to-curve suggestions and programmable multi-stage brew curves. A taste profile you can shape with ratings is on the roadmap — we do not claim the cup already “knows you.”
Aerospace-grade power management descended from drones: serious peak heating through layered protection — same cup, same curve, in the field. Full numbers live on Neo Pro Tecnica.
Upward-extraction structure, pump-as-sensor methods, and aerospace-grade power management are covered by multiple filed invention patents.
IL PANORAMA
Hardware holds a stable 9 bar at the puck. Brew OS writes the method. Taste Wiki keeps the shared result.
08 / IL DEBUTTO
Berlin, September 2026
At IFA Berlin 2026, under a banner that read "The future is now", PURA Neo Pro made its public debut. Baristas came for the nine bars. Engineers came for the pump-as-sensor trick. Everyone stayed for the rise — coffee climbing out of the cup.
Coffee, on your terms. · Early Bird $5 → $50 off · Neo Pro ships by Sep 25 · Titanium from Oct 25
